Poor communication between school and parents

Despite bringing this up in the last 2 PIBG meetings, it is disappointing to note that there has been no improvement till now.  With the pandemic, the gap becomes even more glaring.  Most recent incident being, the new school year book list.  Booklists are not being made available or communicate to students nor parents.  There is no proper system to ensure that students and parents are being informed on pertinent matters.   The school continuingly says that they want to collaborate closer with parents but with such huge communication gaps, it will continue to be hard to collaborate.   I have lost hope this will ever be rectified in this school.

@tongjin. Yes, but this website update was only announced after we obtained the list from other parents.  Happy to see a genuine effort to improve communication channels between parents and students.  However, please note that you shouldn't expect students and parents to check the school website every day for updates, it does not make sense.
